Shared hosting

Shared hosting is generally an entry-level form of hosting where the accounts on a server are partitioned per application. Share hosting is characterised by:

VPS hosting

VPS (virtual private server) hosting is where every account has its own virtual machine. A virtual machine can be used to host multiple applications without compromising performance. VPS hosting is characterised by:

• Separate environment
• Multiple applications
• Self- or fully managed

Fully-managed

Whether your requirements are for a shared or virtual hosting package, Linuxpeak can fully manage the hosting infrastructure so you don't need to. Our engineers install, upgrade and configure software to ensure the hosting experience is as seamless as possible. Linuxpeak customers can focus on their hosted business applications and worry less about the low-level hosting technology.

All Linuxpeak's shared plans are fully-managed and our VPS plans are also fully-managed unless you request to self manage the virtual server. All for a price comparable to hosting companies that only offer self-managed hosting.

Self-managed

As a SaaS company, Linuxpeak specialises in managed hosting for specific business applications. However, we are open about everything we do, so we also provide the ability for clients to manage their own VPS.

If your organisation prefers to host applications on dedicated server infrastructure, Linuxpeak can help. Linuxpeak provides dedicated hosting packages and can be contracted to manage existing dedicated infrastructure as well. See services for more information.
